Fiesta Chicken With Herbed Rice
Ingredients
- Chicken ½ kg (2 tikka piece)
- Tomatoes 2 pureed
- Garlic paste ½ tsp
- Oregano leaves ½ tsp
- Crushed red pepper 1 tsp
- Salt ½ tsp
- Sugar 1 tsp
- Orange color pinch
- Spring onion ½ cup finely chopped
- Corn flour 1 tbsp
- Water ¼ cup
To serve
- Boiled rice 2 cup
- Chopped coriander leaves 2 tbsp
- Salt pinch
- White pepper pinch
Method
- In a pan add pureed tomatoes, 1/2tsp garlic paste ,1/2tsp salt,1/2tsp oregano, 1tsp crushed red chili,1tsp sugar and a pinch of orange food color.After the mixture starts to boil add the chicken pieces . Cover and cook till tender.
- Mix 1tbsp corn flour in 1/4cup water and add the paste to the chicken.Stir until the mixture thickens.Sprinkle the chopped spring onions and turn the flame off.
- To serve,Spread chicken in a platter and serve with molded rice
