Umm e Ali


Ingredients
  • 10 baqar khani
  • A pinch of saffron
  • 1 packet cream
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 cups milk
  • 4 egg whites
  • 50 grams pine nuts
  • 50 grams almonds, pistachios
  • 1 tsp rose water
  • ½ tsp cardamom powder
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
Method
  1. In a bowl add 1 cup sugar, 2 cups milk, 1 packet cream and a pinch of saffron and beat well. Beat 4 egg whites separately. On a tray, place 10 baqar khani and pour 1 tsp rose water. 
  2. The pour beaten milk mixture and beaten egg whites. Garnish with 50 grams almonds and pistachios, 50 grams pine nuts, ½ tsp ground cardamom and ½ tsp ground cinnamon. 
  3. Bake in a pre heated oven at 200 c for half an hour. Umm e Ali is ready to serve.
