Umm e Ali
Ingredients
- 10 baqar khani
- A pinch of saffron
- 1 packet cream
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 cups milk
- 4 egg whites
- 50 grams pine nuts
- 50 grams almonds, pistachios
- 1 tsp rose water
- ½ tsp cardamom powder
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon
Method
- In a bowl add 1 cup sugar, 2 cups milk, 1 packet cream and a pinch of saffron and beat well. Beat 4 egg whites separately. On a tray, place 10 baqar khani and pour 1 tsp rose water.
- The pour beaten milk mixture and beaten egg whites. Garnish with 50 grams almonds and pistachios, 50 grams pine nuts, ½ tsp ground cardamom and ½ tsp ground cinnamon.
- Bake in a pre heated oven at 200 c for half an hour. Umm e Ali is ready to serve.
