Roast Chili Chicken


Ingredients
  • Chicken (cut into 12 pieces) 1 kg
  • Capsicum (cut into Juliennes) 1
  • Onion (cut into circles then in halves) 1 large
  • Green chilies (slit into half) 8
  • Oil ½ cup
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Garlic (crushed) 1 tbsp
  • Vinegar 1 tbsp
  • Black pepper ¾ tsp
  • Soya sauce 2 tbsp
  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • Chili sauce 2 tbsp
  • Ketchup 2 tbsp
  • Salt 1 ½ tsp
Method
  1. Marinate 1 kg chicken with 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste, 1 ½ tsp salt, ¾ tsp black pepper, 1 tbsp vinegar and 2 tbsp soya sauce, leave it for 30 minutes, heat ½ cup oil, fry marinated chicken for 10 minutes, add 1 cup water, cover and cook till chicken is tender, then add 2 tbsp chili sauce, 2 tbsp ketchup.
  2. Heat 2 tbsp oil in frying pan, fry 1 tbsp crushed garlic till golden, add 1 sliced onion, cook for 2 minutes, add 1 capsicum and 8 green chilies, add this mixture to chicken mixture and remove.
