Fried Fish
Ingredients
- 1 kg fish
- A pinch of heng
- ½ cup tamarind juice
- ½ cup gram flour
- 1 tsp ajwain
- 1 tsp fenugreek seeds
- 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- ½ tsp turmeric powder
- ½ tsp salt
- 2 tsp red chili flakes
- Oil as required
Method
- Apply ½ tsp salt on 1 kg fish and keep aside for an hour. Then wash the fish properly and place in a separate bowl. Also add a pinch of heng, ½ cup tamarind juice, ½ cup gram flour, 1 tsp ajwain, 1 tsp fenugreek seeds, 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste, ½ tsp turmeric powder, salt and 2 tsp red chili flakes and put aside for another 2 hours. Heat oil in a wok and fry fish on medium flame. Fried Fish is ready.
