Sajna Phalli & Aaloo Ka Qorma
Ingredients
- Drumsticks (cut in 3 inch pieces) 6
- Onion sliced 2
- Potato (cut in cubes) 2
- Tomatoes chopped 2
- Green chilies 10
- Curry leaves 15 to 20
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp heaped
- Poppy seeds 1 tsp
- Salt 1 tsp heaped
- Coconut 1 tbsp
- Coriander leaves 3 tbsp
- Yogurt 4 tbsp
- Oil ¼ cup
Ingredients for Garnishing
- Green chilies chopped 4
- Coriander leaves chopped 2 tbsp
Method
- Grind together 1 tbsp coconut, 1 tsp poppy seeds, 10 green chilies and 3 tbsp coriander leaves very finely with little water, keep aside. Heat ¼ cup oil, add 2 sliced onions, sauté till light golden in color, now add 15 to 20 curry leaves and fry.
- Then add 1 tsp ginger garlic paste with 1 tsp salt, ground Masala, 2 chopped tomatoes and 4 tbsp yogurt, fry well till oil comes on top.
- Add 2 potatoes cut into cubes with 1 cup of water, cover and simmer till nearly done, add 6 drumsticks, cover and cook over low flame for 15 minutes.
- Before removing from fire add 2 tbsp coriander leaves and 4 green chilies.
