Machli Sikandari
Ingredients
- Boneless fish (cut into cubes) ½ kg
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp heaped
- Chili powder 1 tsp
- Salt 1 tsp
- Turmeric ½ tsp
- White pepper ½ tsp
- Carom seeds ½ tsp
- Chat Masala ½ tsp
- Lemon juice 3 tbsp
- Flour 4 tbsp
- Oil for shallow frying
Method
- In a bowl mix together ½ tsp carom seeds, ½ tsp chaat Masala, 1 tsp ginger garlic paste, 4 tbsp flour, 3 tbsp lemon juice, 1 tsp chili powder, 1 tsp salt, ½ tsp turmeric and ½ tsp white pepper with 2 to 3 tbsp water, marinate ½ kg fish pieces in this mixture, leave it for 30 minutes, heat oil and shallow fry fish in frying pan till golden, serve with chutney.
