Machli Sikandari


Ingredients
  • Boneless fish (cut into cubes) ½ kg
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp heaped
  • Chili powder 1 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Turmeric ½ tsp
  • White pepper ½ tsp
  • Carom seeds ½ tsp
  • Chat Masala ½ tsp
  • Lemon juice 3 tbsp
  • Flour 4 tbsp
  • Oil for shallow frying
Method
  1. In a bowl mix together ½ tsp carom seeds, ½ tsp chaat Masala, 1 tsp ginger garlic paste, 4 tbsp flour, 3 tbsp lemon juice, 1 tsp chili powder, 1 tsp salt, ½ tsp turmeric and ½ tsp white pepper with 2 to 3 tbsp water, marinate ½ kg fish pieces in this mixture, leave it for 30 minutes, heat oil and shallow fry fish in frying pan till golden, serve with chutney.
