Homemade Noodles with Vegetables


Ingredients for Homemade Noodles
  • ½ kg plain flour
  • 4 eggs
  • Salt to taste
  • Water to requirement
Ingredients
  • ¼ cabbage
  • 1 capsicum
  • 1 medium carrot
  • 1 onion
  • 1 spring onion
  • 5 cloves of garlic
  • 1 tbsp turmeric powder
  • ½ tsp black pepper powder
  • 1 tbsp soya sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 2 tbsp Worchester sauce
  • 4 tbsp oil
  • Salt to taste
Method
  1. Mix ½ kg plain flour, 4 eggs, salt to taste and water to requirement and knead to form fine dough. Make noodles of the prepared dough using the machine. In a pan, heat some water with 1 tbsp turmeric powder and boil noodles.
  2. When noodles are boiled, strain away excess water using a strainer. Chop ¼ cabbage, 1 capsicum, 1 carrot, 1 onion and 1 spring onion in julienne shape. Also finely slice 5 cloves of garlic.
  3. In a wok, heat 4 tbsp oil and sauté slices garlic until it turns golden brown. Then add all vegetables, noodles, 2 tbsp oyster sauce, 2 tbsp Worchester sauce, 1 tbsp soya sauce, ½ tsp black pepper powder and salt to taste and cook for 4 to 5 minutes. 
  4. Homemade Noodles with Vegetable are ready to serve.
