Chicken and Corn Pasta
Ingredients
- Boneless chicken breast (cut into Strips) 2
- Spring onion (finely chopped) 1
- Milk 2 cups
- Cream ½ cup
- Boiled penne pasta ½ packet
- Sweet corn ½ cup
- Cheddar cheese ½ cup
- Salt 1 tsp
- Mixed herbs 1 tsp
- Garlic crushed 1 tbsp
- Black pepper ½ tsp
- Mustard powder ½ tsp
- Tomato ketchup 3 tbsp
- Chili garlic sauce 2 tbsp
- Butter 3 tbsp
- Flour 3 tbsp
- Orange color a pinch
Method
- Melt 3 tbsp butter in pan, add 1 tbsp crushed garlic and fry till brown, now add in boneless chicken strips with 1 tsp salt, ½ tsp black pepper, ½ tsp mustard powder and 3 tbsp flour. Sauté for 2 minutes. Now add 2 cups milk, ½ cup sweet corn and 1 tsp mixed herbs.
- Cook till mixture thickens. Fold in ½ packet boiled penne pasta, 3 tbsp ketchup, 2 tbsp chili garlic sauce, a pinch of orange color, ½ cup cream and 1 finely chopped spring onion. Lastly add ½ cup grated cheddar cheese. Remove from fire and serve hot.
