Chicken and Corn Pasta


Ingredients
  • Boneless chicken breast (cut into Strips) 2
  • Spring onion (finely chopped) 1
  • Milk 2 cups
  • Cream ½ cup
  • Boiled penne pasta ½ packet
  • Sweet corn ½ cup
  • Cheddar cheese ½ cup
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Mixed herbs 1 tsp
  • Garlic crushed 1 tbsp
  • Black pepper ½ tsp
  • Mustard powder ½ tsp
  • Tomato ketchup 3 tbsp
  • Chili garlic sauce 2 tbsp
  • Butter 3 tbsp
  • Flour 3 tbsp
  • Orange color a pinch
Method
  1. Melt 3 tbsp butter in pan, add 1 tbsp crushed garlic and fry till brown, now add in boneless chicken strips with 1 tsp salt, ½ tsp black pepper, ½ tsp mustard powder and 3 tbsp flour. Sauté for 2 minutes. Now add 2 cups milk, ½ cup sweet corn and 1 tsp mixed herbs. 
  2. Cook till mixture thickens. Fold in ½ packet boiled penne pasta, 3 tbsp ketchup, 2 tbsp chili garlic sauce, a pinch of orange color, ½ cup cream and 1 finely chopped spring onion. Lastly add ½ cup grated cheddar cheese. Remove from fire and serve hot.
