Lemon Chicken
Ingredients
- 2 chicken breasts
- 1 egg
- 2 lemon’s juice
- 4 cloves of garlic
- ½ cup honey
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ¼ tsp white pepper
- 2 tbsp oil
- 2 tbsp plain flour
- 4 tbsp corn flour
- Salt to taste
- Oil as required
For Garnishing
- 1 lemon
- 1 spring onion
Method
- Cut 2 chicken breasts and mix with 2 tbsp flour, 2 tbsp corn flour, 1 beaten egg, 2 lemon’s juice, ¼ tsp black pepper and ¼ tsp white pepper. Marinate chicken breasts and deep fry. In a separate pan,heat some oil and add 4 sliced cloves of garlic, ½ cup honey and 1 cup water.
- Now add 1 tbsp oyster sauce, ¼ tsp black pepper and salt to taste. When it reaches a boiling point, add 1 tbsp corn flour to thicken the mixture.
- Now slice chicken pieces and place them on a platter and pour the sauce on top of it. Garnish with a sliced lemon and a sliced spring onion before serving.
