Lahori Channa Masala
Ingredients
- 2 cups boiled chickpeas
- 1 onion
- 2 glasses chicken stock
- 125 grams yogurt
- ½ cup clarified butter
- 100 gram yellow gram
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp hot spices powder
- 1 tbsp turmeric powder
- 1 tbsp red chili powder
- 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- Salt to taste
Method
- Soak 100 gram yellow gram and keep it aside. Heat ½ clarified butter and fry 1 onion until it is golden brown. Add 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste, 2 cup boiled grams and soaked yellow gram in it. After 2 to 3 minutes, include 125 grams yogurt, 2 glasses chicken stock, 1 tbsp turmeric powder, 1 tbsp red chili powder, 1 tsp cumin powder, 1 tbsp red chili powder and salt to taste and allow simmering for 15 to 20 minutes.
- When the lentils are well combined with the mixture, stir together on high flame. Mouthwatering Lahori Channa Masala is ready to serve.
