Chicken Bhuna Gosht
Ingredients
- 1 kg chicken
- 1 onion
- 2 tomatoes
- 125 grams yogurt
- ¼ bunch fresh coriander
- ¼ bunch mint
- ½ cup clarified butter
- 1 tbsp red chili powder
- 1 tbsp turmeric powder
- 1 tbsp crushed cumin
- 2 tbsp red chili flakes
- 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- Salt to taste
Method
- Cut 1 kg chicken into small pieces. In a pan, heat ½ cup clarified butter and sauté 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste. When color begins to change, add chicken and sauté. In a blender, add 1 onion, 2 tomatoes and ¼ bunch mint and blend to form a paste.
- Then add 125 grams yogurt and prepared paste and stir together. Then add 1 tbsp red chili powder, 1tbsp turmeric powder, 1 tbsp crushed cumin, 2 tbsp red chili flakes and salt to taste and mix.
- Also add 1 cup water and allow cooking until water dries up. Top with ¼ bunch sliced fresh coriander and serve Chicken Bhunan Gosht.
