Al Baik Chicken
Ingredients
- 1 whole chicken with skin
- 2 lemons
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup corn flour
- 2 cups plain flour
- 1 tbsp ginger paste
- ½ tsp red food color
- ½ tsp cinnamon powder
- 2 tbsp garlic paste
- 4 tbsp red chili powder
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- Oil for frying
- Salt to taste
Method
- Cut whole chicken into 8 pieces and make sure that the skin does not remove. Mix together 4 tbsp red chili powder, juice of 2 lemons, ½ tsp cinnamon powder, 4 tbsp olive oil and salt to taste and fill in syringe.
- Marinate chicken pieces with 2 tbsp garlic paste, 1 tbsp ginger paste and salt to taste. Beat 2 eggs in a bowl and keep aside. Dip chicken in beaten eggs and coat with plain flour. Repeat the process.
- Fill the chicken with prepared spice mix with a syringe. Fry in a covered pan for 10 to 15 minutes. Al Baik Chicken is ready to serve.
