Pineapple Upside Down Cake


Ingredients For sponge
  • Pineapple rings 1 can
  • Sugar 2 cup
  • Egg 4
  • Cherries 1 cup
  • Butter 150 gm
  • White flour 2 ½ cup
  • Baking powder 2 tbsp
  • Brown sugar 2 tbsp
  • Milk as required
Method
  1. For cake batter: Take half of pineapple from tin and put it in a blender jug and make paste. In a mixing bowl, mix 2 cup sugar and 4 egg to make batter. Then add 150 gm butter and again beat it. Now put 2 tbsp of baking powder and pine apple paste to mix. 
  2. Put 2 ½ cup flour in batter and mix milk to make smooth batter. Now grease the baking pan with butter and coat it with 2 tbsp of sugar. Now place reaming slices of pineapple piece in the base and set cherry in the centre of slice. 
  3. Now slightly pour the batter and set the rings. Cover it with aluminum foil and bake it for 200 c for 30 to 35 minutes. Now take out the cake from pan and put it upside down.
