Kharey Masale ki Mash Daal


Ingredients
  • ½ kg Split black lentils
  • 2 Chopped onion
  • 3-4 Black cardamom
  • 2-3 Bays leaf
  • 4-5 Cloves
  • 5-6 Green chilies
  • ½ Bunch coriander
  • Inch of garlic clove
  • 4-5 Crushed garlic
  • 2-3 Cinnamon leaves
  • 1 tsp Whole black pepper
  • 1 tsp Whole cumin
  • 1 tbsp Crushed red chili
  • 4-5 tbsp Oil
  • Salt to taste
Method
  1. Wash ½kg split black lentils and soak it for ½ an hour. Now in a pan heat 4-5tbsp oil and add 3-4 black cardamom, 2-3 bays leaf, 4-5 cloves, 2-3 cinnamon leaves, 1tsp whole black pepper, 1tsp whole cumin and salt to taste and fry. 
  2. Then add 2 onions and 4-5 cloves of garlic and fry. When the onion turn to golden brown, then add 1tbsp crushed red chilies, 5-6 green chilies, and split black lentils, mix it properly and tender. 
  3. When the black lentils get tender then add ½bunch of coriander and cover it to simmer. When the simmer gets done, then add inch of garlic clove slice and garnished with ½bunch of coriander.
