Cumin Rice

Cumin Rice


Ingredients
  • ½ kg Sella rice
  • 2 Chicken cubes
  • 3 Curry leaves
  • 4-5 Cloves
  • 2-3 Cinnamon leaves
  • 1 tsp Black cumin
  • 3 tbsp Clarified butter
  • Pinch of yellow food color
  • Salt to taste
Method
  1. Wash ½ kg rice and soak it for 1 to 2 hour’s. Then strain the rice and heat 3tbsp clarified butter. Now in a same pan add 45 cloves, 2-3 cinnamon leaves, 3 curry leaves and 1tsp black cumin and fry. 
  2. Then add as required water, 2 chicken cubes and salt to taste for boiling. When water gets boiled then add rice. Cook until the rice is done.
  3. Now add 1 pinch of yellow food color in water, mix it well and add it in rice. Simmer covered, till rice is cooked. Dish out and Serve hot Zeera Rice.
