Chuqandar Ki Bhujia
Ingredients
- Beet roots 250 gm
- Onion chopped 1
- Tomatoes chopped 3
- Yogurt ½ cup
- Chili powder 1 tsp heaped
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
- Salt 1 tsp
- Oil ¼ cup
- Chopped coriander leaves as required
- Green chilies as required
Method
- Peel and grate 250 gm beet roots, also finely chop 1 cup leaves of beet roots, heat ¼ cup oil, fry 1 chopped onion till its color turn to light pink, add 1 tsp ginger garlic paste, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp chili powder, ½ cup yogurt and 3 chopped tomatoes.
- Fry well adding little water, cook till oil comes on top, add grated beet roots with 1 cup leaves, fry for 5 minutes, add ½ cup water and simmer till all tender, add green chilies and coriander leaves.
