Pumpkin pie
Ingredients
- ½ kg Fine flour
- 1 cup Icing sugar
- 1 pinch Baking powder
- 100 gm Butter (without salt)
Ingredients For filling
- ½ kg Pumpkin
- 1 cup Cream
- 2 cup Icing sugar
- 4 Eggs
- ½ tsp Cinnamon powder
- Dry fruits for garnishing
Method
- For pie, In a mixing bowl add ½kg fine flour, 100g butter (without salt), 1cup icing sugar and a pinch of baking powder mix it well and prepare hard dough.
- Now roll the dough and set on pie tray and place a heavy object on top Then put it into pre-heated oven for 20 minutes on 200 degree centigrade for baking and set aside.
- For filling, Mash ½kg pumpkin in a mixing bowl. Now add 4 eggs, 1cup cream, 2cup icing sugar and ½tsp cinnamon powder mix it properly. Now pour the mixture on prepared pie.
- Chop the dry fruits and put on the pie. Then put the pie into a pre-heated oven for 15 minutes on 200 degree centigrade for baking. In the end dish out and serve it.
