Palak Paneer

Palak Paneer


Ingredients
  • Onion chopped 1 medium
  • Butter 4 tbsp
  • Oil 1 tsp
  • Garlic 1/2 tsp
  • Ginger paste 1/4 tsp
  • Spinach boiled 2 cups
  • Cumin seeds 1/4 tsp
  • Garam masala 1/4 tsp
  • Cream 1/4 cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Green chili 1
  • Cottage cheese 100 gm
Method
  1. Heat butter and oil in a pan add the cumin seeds saute for a minute then add the garlic and ginger paste saute for a afew minutes then add the onions and cook till transparent.
  2. Blend the spinach along with the yogurt and green chilli. Add the mixture to the onions and cook for 3 to 4 minutes.
  3. Then add the salt and black pepper and remove from flame and add the cream stirring continuously until well blended then add the garam masala. 
  4. In the end add the fried cottage cheese and mix well.
