Madrassi Rice
Ingredients
- 2 cup Boiled rice
- 1-2 Bay leaves
- 4-5 Cloves
- 1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
- ½ tsp Turmeric powder
- ½ tsp Fennel seeds
- ½ tsp Whole black pepper
- 2 tbsp Tamarind paste
- 2-3 tbsp Clarified butter
- Salt to taste
Method
- Wash 2cup rice and soak it for 1 to 3 hours. Now strain the rice, boil and set aside. Then in a pan heat the 2-3tbsp clarified butter and fry ½tsp fennel seeds, ½tsp black pepper, 4-5 cloves and 1-2 bay leaf.
- Now add 1tbsp ginger garlic paste in a same pan and knead it properly. Then add ½tsp turmeric, salt to taste and rice mix it and fry on low flame. now simmer it and serve hot.
