Prawn Chilli Dry
Ingredients
- 250 gms Prawns
- 1 tsp Rice vinegar
- 2 tbsp Cornflour
- Coarse Sea salt
- Crushed Black pepper
- Crushed Red Chillies
- 4 Green chillies deseeded and halved
- 1/4 tsp Sugar
- 3 Garlic cloves finely chopped
- 1 cm Ginger piece grated
- 1 tsp Soya sauce
- Oil to fry the prawns
- 2 Green onion chopped
Method
- Marinate the prawns in vinegar, salt, black pepper, crushed red chillies for about 15 minutes. Then add the cornflour and toss well. Heat oil in a wok add the prawns and fry till golden. Remove on a kitchen towel and drain.
- Remove excess oil from the pan leaving only 1 tsp of oil. Place it back on the fire and add the garlic, green chillies salt pepper then add the prawns and stir fry for afew second then add a dash of soya sauce and sugar and season according to taste. serve hot on a bed of chopped green onions.
