Chicken soya with steamed rice


Ingredients
  • 1 kg  Chicken with the skin (4 pieces)
  • ½ liter Soya sauce
  • 1 tsp Mustard seeds
  • 2-3 Cinnamon sticks
  • 2 Bay leaves
  • 1 tbsp Black pepper whole
  • 1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp Brown sugar
  • Sesame oil few drops
  • 1 cup Basmati rice
  • White pepper to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for frying
Method
  1. Take 1 kg chicken and, cut into 1x4 pieces. Drizzle 1tbsp of oil on the sides of a hot wok. Add , 1 tbsp of ginger garlic paste, ½ tbsp of Soya sauce, 1 tsp of mustard seeds, 1 tbsp of brown sugar, 2-3 cinnamon sticks, 2 bay leaves, 1 tbsp of black pepper, few drops of sesame oil and salt & pepper to taste. Stir and cook till the sauce begins to boil 
  2. In a separate hot wok drizzle ½ tbsp of oil .Add the chicken and brown for 4-5 minutes.Serve the chicken in a platter topped with the Soya gravy .Serve with steamed rice.
