Chicken soya with steamed rice
Ingredients
- 1 kg Chicken with the skin (4 pieces)
- ½ liter Soya sauce
- 1 tsp Mustard seeds
- 2-3 Cinnamon sticks
- 2 Bay leaves
- 1 tbsp Black pepper whole
- 1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
- 1 tbsp Brown sugar
- Sesame oil few drops
- 1 cup Basmati rice
- White pepper to taste
- Salt to taste
- Oil for frying
Method
- Take 1 kg chicken and, cut into 1x4 pieces. Drizzle 1tbsp of oil on the sides of a hot wok. Add , 1 tbsp of ginger garlic paste, ½ tbsp of Soya sauce, 1 tsp of mustard seeds, 1 tbsp of brown sugar, 2-3 cinnamon sticks, 2 bay leaves, 1 tbsp of black pepper, few drops of sesame oil and salt & pepper to taste. Stir and cook till the sauce begins to boil
- In a separate hot wok drizzle ½ tbsp of oil .Add the chicken and brown for 4-5 minutes.Serve the chicken in a platter topped with the Soya gravy .Serve with steamed rice.
