Shola Biryani
Ingredients
- ½ kg Boiled Rice
- ½ kg Chicken
- 250 gm Yogurt
- 1 Potato
- 1 Carrot
- 1 Capsicum
- 2 Tomato
- 2 Lemon
- 6 Green chilies
- 1 bunch Mint leaves
- Yellow color a pinch
- 1 cup Boiled chickpea
- ½ cup Oil
- 1 tsp Turmeric
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tbsp All spice
- 2 tsp Red chili powder
- 2 tsp Ginger garlic paste
- 1 Coal
Method
- Heat ½ cup oil in pan, add ½ kg chicken, 2 tsp ginger garlic paste and 1 tbsp all spice. Fry well. Now add 1 tsp turmeric, 1 tsp salt, 2 tsp red chili powder and 2 chopped tomatoes.
- Cover and cook for 20 minutes. Now add 1 potato, 1 carrot, 1 capsicum, 1 cup boiled chickpea and 250 gm whipped yogurt. Now add 2 sliced lemon, 6 green chilies and 1 bunch of mint leaves.
- Make a layer of boiled rice on top. Sprinkle a pinch of yellow color and simmer for 20 minutes. Lastly put a burning coal in pan, drop some oil on it, cover for 1 minute and serve.
