Paneer Qulcha

Ingredients
  • ½ kg Flour
  • ½ cup Ghee
  • ½ cup Yogurt
  • 1 tbsp Yeast
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • Lukewarm milk as required
Ingredients for filling
  • 1 Onion chopped
  • 2 Green chilies chopped
  • 50 gm Butter
  • 200 gm Cheese
  • 1 tsp Garlic chopped
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • 2 tsp Cumin seeds
Method
  1. Mix together ½ kg Flour, ½ cup Ghee, ½ cup Yogurt, 1 tbsp Yeast, ½ tsp Salt and knead to medium soft dough with lukewarm milk as required.
  2. For filling, in a bowl mix together 200 gm cheese, 1 chopped onion, 2 chopped green chilies, 1 tsp chopped garlic, 2 tsp cumin seeds and ½ tsp salt. Mix well and keep aside. 
  3. Now heat 1 tbsp butter in a pan, add filling mixture and cook for 1 minute. Make two tortillas of dough, put filling mixture on one tortilla, top with second and seal well. 
  4. Make marks on it using fingers. Bake in a pre heated oven of 200 degrees for 10 minutes. Lastly spread butter and serve hot.
