Chicken burgers with mustard cream


Ingredients
  • 500 gms Chicken Minced
  • 2/3 cup packaged bread crumbs
  • 1 tbsp mild curry powder
  • 2 tbsp mango chutney
  • 1 tbsp chopped corriander
  • 1 egg beaten
  • salt
  • pepper to taste
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
Ingredients for grainy mustard cream
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 tbsp seeded mustard
  • 1 tbsp mango chutney
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
Method
  1. Place the chicken mince, breadcrumbs, curry powder, chutney, corriander, egg, salt and pepper in a big bowl and mix well to combine.cover and keep aside for 20 mins.
  2. Divide mixture into 6 equal portions. shape each portion into a patty with lighly oiled hands and flatten slightly. heat a grill pan to smoking point and add oil to grease.
  3. Place the patties on the grill pan and reduce the heat let it grill on either side on a medium heat until cooked through turning only once. serve on some hot buns with grainy mustard.
  4. To make grainy mustard-place cream,mustard and chutney in a small bowl using a whisk combine well gradually adding to oil beating well until all is combined together.
