Arabic Sheer Khorma


Ingredients
  • 200 grams colored vermicelli
  • 2 liter milk
  • 250 grams sugar
  • ¼ tsp saffron color
  • 100 grams clarified butter
  • 10 almonds
  • 10 pistachios
  • 10 grams raisins
  • 100 grams dates
  • 3 small cardamoms
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 3 cloves
  • Few drops of kewra essence
Method
  1. In a medium cooking pot, heat 100 grams clarified butter. Then add 2 cinnamon sticks, 3 cloves, 3 cardamoms, 100 grams sliced dates, 10 sliced almonds, 10 sliced pistachios, 10 raisins and 200 grams colored vermicelli. Stir continuously. 
  2. Then add 2 liter milk and cook on medium flame. Meanwhile, add 250 grams sugar, ¼ tsp saffron color and few drops of kewra essence and cook until the mixture begins to boil. Your Arabic Sheer Khorma is ready to serve.
