- 1 kg Beef fillets
- 1 cup Turmeric paste
- 1/2 cup Papaya paste
- 2 Chopped onions
- 6-8 Whole red chilies
- 8-10 Black pepper corns
- 1-2 sticks Cinnamon
- 5-6 Green cardamoms
- 5-6 Cloves
- 2 tbsp Whole coriander
- 2 tbsp Fennel seeds
- 1/2 bunch Coriander
- 8-10 Green chilies
- 5-6 cloves Garlic
- 1 piece Ginger
- 1 cup Ghee
- Salt as required
Directions
- Flatten the beef with a meat mallet and marinate with the papaya paste for 2-3 hours. Heat oil in a pan and fry the cloves.
- Then add in the onions and fry till brown. Add in the beef fillets and fry till the oil forms a separate layer on top. Turn the flame off and remove the beef.
- Take a mixing bowl and mix in the tamarind paste, red whole chilies, cinnamon, cardamoms whole coriander and fennel seeds, garlic, ginger and salt.
- In the same pan add in the paste and beef fillet and cook till tender. Add in the green chilies and coriander. Cover and cook for 5 minutes.Dish out and serve.
