- 1/2 kg Minced beef
- 2 Onions
- 2 Eggs
- 3-4 Bread slices
- 4-5 Garlic
- 8-10 Whole red chilies
- 1 tbsp Whole cumin
- 2 tbsp Whole coriander
- Salt as required
- 1 pieces Coal
Ingredients for gravy
- 1 cup Tomato puree
- 1 tbsp Garlic paste
- 1-1/2 tbsp Red chili powder
- 1 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 tsp All spice powder
- 1/2 cup Onion paste
- 1 cup Yogurt
- Salt as required
- Coriander for garnishing
Directions
- In a food processor chop together the minced beef, onions, eggs, bread slices, garlic, whole red chili, cumin, black pepper powder, whole coriander and salt.
- Make small koftas and steam for 10-1 5 minutes. Remove from the steamer. Place the koftas in a pan; lower a piece of burning coal and cover.
- Heat oil in a pan. Add garlic paste,and onion paste. Fry for 2-3 minutes. Then add the tomato puree, beaten yogurt and cook further for another 5 minutes.
- Add the red chili powder, turmeric powder, all spice powder and salt. Fry till the oil floats on top. Now add the prepared koftas along with 1 ½ cup water.
- Cover and simmer for 5minutes.Garnish with chopped coriander and serve.
