Hyderabadi Dahi Phulki


Ingredients
  • ½ kg yogurt
  • 100 grams gram flour’s phulki
  • 1 tsp chaat masala
  • 1 tbsp white cumin
  • 1 tbsp red chili powder
  • 1 tbsp fresh coriander
  • Salt to taste
Ingredients for tarka
  • 1 curry leaf
  • 3 whole red peppers
  • 3 green chilies
  • A pinch of mustard seeds
  • ¼ tsp white cumin
  • 3 tbsp oil
Method
  1. Soak 100 grams gram flour’s phulki for 15 to 20 minutes and then let them dry. Whisk ½ kg yogurt thoroughly. You could also add water if desired.
  2. In a pan, roast 1 tbsp white cumin, 1 tbsp red chili powder, 1 tbsp fresh coriander and then grind. Add phulkis to beaten yogurt and sprinkle 1 tsp chaat masala and mix.
  3. In a pan, add 3 tbsp oil and sauté 1 curry leaf, 3 whole red peppers, 3 green chilies a pinch of mustard seeds and ¼ tsp white cumin.
  4. Apply this tarka over Hyderabadi Dahi Phulki and serve.
