- ½ kg yogurt
- 100 grams gram flour’s phulki
- 1 tsp chaat masala
- 1 tbsp white cumin
- 1 tbsp red chili powder
- 1 tbsp fresh coriander
- Salt to taste
Ingredients for tarka
- 1 curry leaf
- 3 whole red peppers
- 3 green chilies
- A pinch of mustard seeds
- ¼ tsp white cumin
- 3 tbsp oil
Method
- Soak 100 grams gram flour’s phulki for 15 to 20 minutes and then let them dry. Whisk ½ kg yogurt thoroughly. You could also add water if desired.
- In a pan, roast 1 tbsp white cumin, 1 tbsp red chili powder, 1 tbsp fresh coriander and then grind. Add phulkis to beaten yogurt and sprinkle 1 tsp chaat masala and mix.
- In a pan, add 3 tbsp oil and sauté 1 curry leaf, 3 whole red peppers, 3 green chilies a pinch of mustard seeds and ¼ tsp white cumin.
- Apply this tarka over Hyderabadi Dahi Phulki and serve.
