Chilay (Pan Cake)


Ingredients
  • 1 cup plain flour
  • 1 finely sliced onion
  • 1 finely sliced green chili
  • 2 eggs
  • ¼ bunch finely sliced coriander
  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • ½ tsp sugar
  • ¼ tsp turmeric powder
  • ½ tsp red chili powder
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • Salt n black pepper to taste
Method
  1. Add 1 cup plain flour, 1 finely sliced onion, 1 finely sliced green chili, 2 eggs, ¼ bunch finely sliced coriander, 1 tsp ginger garlic paste, ½ tsp sugar, ¼ tsp turmeric powder, ½ tsp red chili powder, 1 tbsp oil and salt n black pepper to taste and water as required to a bowl and mix well.
  2. Grease a frying pan with some oil so that it does not stick. Roll a portion of the prepared batter with a rolling pin. Fry it for a couple of minutes on low flame.
  3. Repeat with all the pan cake mixture. Serve Chilay with your favorite dip.
