- 1 kg Mutton chops
- 250 gm Boiled chickpeas
- 250 gm Yogurt
- 8-10 Green chilies
- 2-3 Chopped tomatoes
- 2-3 Chopped onions
- 1 tsp White cumin powder
- 2 tbsp Red chili powder
- 1/2 tsp Onion seeds
- 1 tsp Soda
- 1tsp Turmeric powder
- 3 tbsp Chopped garlic
- 2 tbsp Chopped ginger
- 1/2 bunch Chopped coriander
- 3-4 tbsp Oil
- Salt as required
Directions
- Soak the chickpeas over night with 1tsp baking soda .Then boil them till soft.In a mixing bowl add the yogurt, ginger, garlic, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder and salt.
- Add the chops and put aside for 1 hour. Heat oil in a pan and fry the onions. Then add the tomatoes and chops and fry till the oil floats on top. Now add the chickpeas along with 2 cups of water and cook on a low flame.
- Before the mixture dries add the green chilies and onion seeds .Dish out and garnish with chopped coriander.
