Chana chanp


Ingredients
  • 1 kg Mutton chops
  • 250 gm Boiled chickpeas
  • 250 gm Yogurt
  • 8-10 Green chilies
  • 2-3 Chopped tomatoes
  • 2-3 Chopped onions
  • 1 tsp White cumin powder
  • 2 tbsp Red chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp Onion seeds
  • 1 tsp Soda
  • 1tsp Turmeric powder
  • 3 tbsp Chopped garlic
  • 2 tbsp Chopped ginger
  • 1/2 bunch Chopped coriander
  • 3-4 tbsp Oil
  • Salt as required
Directions
  1. Soak the chickpeas over night with 1tsp baking soda .Then boil them till soft.In a mixing bowl add the yogurt, ginger, garlic, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder and salt.
  2. Add the chops and put aside for 1 hour. Heat oil in a pan and fry the onions. Then add the tomatoes and chops and fry till the oil floats on top. Now add the chickpeas along with 2 cups of water and cook on a low flame.
  3. Before the mixture dries add the green chilies and onion seeds .Dish out and garnish with chopped coriander.
