- 1/2kg Boneless chicken
- 2 ½ cups Rice
- 1/2tbsp Ginger garlic paste
- 10 Small cardamom
- 6 Cloves
- 15 Almonds (boiled)
- 20 Pistachio (boiled)
- Coloured petha as required
- 2 ½ cups Sugar
- 1/1/2 cup Oil
Directions
- Soak the rice for on hour. Take a large skillet and put the rice with fresh water ,4 cloves and 5 cardamoms, When 3cm-4cm of water is left strain the rice.
- In the same skillet add oil, yogurt, cloves and cardamoms. When the oil forms a separate layer on top add the ginger garlic paste and chicken.
- In the meantime take a bowl and add the rice, sugar, colored petha and milk. Mix well and put the rice in the chicken mixture. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
