Mutanjun


Ingredients
  • 1/2kg Boneless chicken
  • 2 ½ cups Rice
  • 1/2tbsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 10 Small cardamom
  • 6 Cloves
  • 15 Almonds (boiled)
  • 20 Pistachio (boiled)
  • Coloured petha as required
  • 2 ½ cups Sugar
  • 1/1/2 cup Oil
Directions
  1. Soak the rice for on hour. Take a large skillet and put the rice with fresh water ,4 cloves and 5 cardamoms, When 3cm-4cm of water is left strain the rice.
  2. In the same skillet add oil, yogurt, cloves and cardamoms. When the oil forms a separate layer on top add the ginger garlic paste and chicken.
  3. In the meantime take a bowl and add the rice, sugar, colored petha and milk. Mix well and put the rice in the chicken mixture. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
