Badami gosht


Ingredients
  • 1/2 kg Chicken
  • ½ cups Yogurt
  • 3 Onions
  • 1 tbsp Ginger paste
  • 1 tsp Whole pepper
  • ½ bunches Mint
  • 20 Almonds
  • 1 tsp Poppy seeds
  • 8 Green chillies
  • 1 cup Oil
  • 2 Lemon
  • Salt as required
Directions
  1. Grind the almonds, green chilies, and black pepper and poppy seeds together.Heat oil in a large skillet and brown the onions.
  2. Remove from the oil and spread the onions on a newspaper. After they become crisp crush them with your hands.
  3. Now in the same oil add the chicken and fry until the water dries. Then add yogurt, onions, ginger and salt. Fry until the oil forms a layer on top.
  4. Add a glass of warm water and fry the meat on low flame until the meat becomes tender.
  5. Now add the ground masala to the meat. Sauté again for 5 minutes and add the lemon juice .Simmer for a few minutes.Garnish with mint leaves and serve with parathas.
