Chocolate Covered Strawberries
Ingredients
- 1-pint Fresh Strawberries, with leaves
- 5 ounces Bittersweet Chocolate, chopped
Instructions
- In a microwave safe bowl, or in the top of a double boiler over simmering water, melt the chocolate.
- Stir sporadically till the chocolate smoothens out.
- Next, dip each strawberry in chocolate till about three-quarters of the way to the stem.
- Place these strawberries, stem side down, on wire rack and chill in refrigerator for 6 to 7 hours or until the dish is hard and set.
- Eat chilled and savor the amazing combination of strawberry and chocolate. The recipe can be made in any desired shape and this can be done by altering the shape of the setting bowl used. A beautiful heart shaped strawberry dessert would be just perfect to woo your partner. You can even top the dish using foamy creams and melted chocolate.
