Chicken biryani

Ingredients
  • ½ kg Rice
  • 750 grams Chicken
  • 3 Potato
  • 3 Tomato
  • 1 cup Plum
  • 2 Onion
  • 1 cup Yogurt
  • 2 Lemon
  • 1 tsp White cumin
  • ½ tsp Black cumin
  • 1 ½ tbsp Red chilli crushed
  • Whole garam masala as required
  • 1 tsp Garam masala
  • 3 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 4 tbsp Coconut powder
  • Saffron as required
  • Food color as required
  • ½ bunch Green coriander
  • ½ bunch Mint
  • 5 Green chilli
  • 1 cup Clarified butter
  • Salt as required
Directions
  1. First boil water in a pan and add salt and cumin in it. When smell starting to come add rice in it and half boil it.
  2. First heat up oil in a pan and add whole garam masala in it. When it cook a little add onion and cook it till it become brown. Now add chicken and ginger garlic paste and cook it.
  3. Now put yogurt, green chilli, potato, red chilli, garam masala powder and black cumin and cook it well. Add coconut, plum and tomato and mix it well. And cook it for 5 to 6 minutes. Qorma is ready.
  4. First place a layer of qorma. Now put half of rice on it. Then again put layer of qorma and green coriander, mint and coconut powder and put remaining rice and put saffron and food color on top and in the end ½ cup clarified butter and covered it to cook.
  5. Now garnish it with lemon slice.
