Fondant
Ingredients:
- 1/2 tbsp gelatins
- 2 tbsp cold water
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1/4 cup corn syrup
- 1/2 tbsp glycerin
- 1 pound icing sugar
- Shortening 1 tbsp
- Soak the gelatins in cold water, when swells keep on double boiler and melt , when completely melted add all the ingredients except icing sugar, and gently mix with a spoon when mixed, grease your hands with shortening and make a well in icing sugar and pour all the liquid in the centre and start kneading slowly until a soft uniform dough is ready. Keep it for few hours to mature and then apply on cake.
