Masala Dossa
Ingredients:
- 250 grams tota mota rice
- 125 grams joshi rice
- ¼ cup mash ki daal
- ¼ cup methi dana
- Gram lentils 1tbsp
- Mash ki daal 1 tbsp
- Yellow lentils 1 tbsp
- Bhagahr for sabzi:
- Oil ¼ cup
- Curry leaves 30
- Cumin 1 tsp
- Mustard 1 tsp
- Onions 2-3 large
Method:
- Slightly roast gram lentils, pigeon lentils and yellow lentils on tawa for 2 mins.Soak the tota mota rice with joshi rice and grind and leave it to rise over night .Soak mash ki daal and methi dana whole day, grind and mix with the soaked and ground rice.Heat oil add curry leaves with cumin and mustard and sliced onions fry till it gets transparent.Add salt to taste and turmeric with green chilies chopped.Then add the roasted masala and fry well.Add boiled cubed potatoes with 1 cup water .Cover and cook till potatoes slightly mashed .
Ingredients for Chutney:
- Grated coconut 1
- Green chilies 4
- Coriander leaves ½ bunch
- Ginger 4 tbsp
Method:
- Grind together green chilies, coriander leaves and ginger then add in it grated coconut,Blend together lastly add lemon juice and salt, mix well.
