Malka Gosht


Ingredients
  • Mutton ½ kg
  • Black lentils soaked 125 gm
  • Oil ¼ cup
  • Onion chopped 2
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
  • Dry red chilies 4 – 5
  • Garlic 4 cloves
  • Green chilies 2
  • Tomatoes boiled 3
  • Cumin powder ½ tbsp
  • Coriander powder ½ tbsp
  • Chili powder 2 tsp
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Water 2 cup
  • Salt to taste
  • All spice powder ½ tsp
Method
  • Heat 1/4cup oil in a wok, add 2 chopped onions along with 1/2kgmeat.Cook until the onions are tender and the color of the meat changesNow add 3 boiled and chopped tomatoes, 1/2tbsp cumin powder, 1/2tsp coriander powder, 2tsp red chili powder, 1tsp turmeric ,1/2tsp all spice powder and salt to tasteStir and cook for 1-2 minutesAdd 175g soaked lentils along with 2 cups water. Mix well ,cover and cookAfter 20-25 minutes, uncover and check the mutton and lentils to see if tenderIn a separate pan heat 3-4tbsp oil. Add 4 sliced cloves of garlic, 2 julienne cut onions, 4-5 dried red chilies Pour the temper over the meat and lentils.The delicious malka gosht is ready to serve.
