Fish in Green Sauce


Ingredients
  • Fish fillet ½ kg
  • Green tomatoes 3
  • Spring onion 2
  • Coriander leaves 2 tbsp
  • Garlic chopped 2 – 3
  • Oil 3 tbsp
  • Green chilies 2 – 3
  • Crushed red pepper 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper powder ¼ tsp
  • Lemon juice 2 tbsp 
Method
  • Blanch 3 green tomatoes. Put in a chopper with 2 spring onions, 2 tbsp coriander leaves, 2 – 3 cloves of garlic and 2 – 3 green chilies. Chopperize well.Heat oil in a wok, add ground mixture and cook covered on low flame. Marinate fish with 2 tbsp lemon juice and salt to taste. Then shallow fry fish pieces from both sides till golden brown. Remove in a platter and keep aside.Now remove lid of the pan, add black pepper powder and crushed red pepper. Fry well till water dries and thick gravy is left.Then pour the prepared green sauce on top of fried fish and serve hot.
