Chicken Karhai Boti
Ingredients
- Chicken boneless ½ kg
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Butter 2 tbsp
- Onion chopped 1
- Turmeric ½ tsp
- Cumin powder ½ tsp
- Coriander powder ½ tsp
- All spice powder ½ tsp
- Chili powder 1 tsp
- Fresh cream 2 tbsp
- Almond ground 2 tbsp
- Water ½ cup
- Yogurt 125 gm
Method
- Ina wok melt 2tbsp butter and fry the chicken cubes until the color changesAdd 1 chopped onion,1tbsp ginger garlic paste and cook until tenderNow add 1/2tsp turmeric, 1/2tsp cumin powder, 1/2tsp coriander powder, 1/2tsp all spice powder, 1tsp red chili powder, salt as required and 175g yogurt. Mix and cook for a minute or soAdd ½ cup water, cover and simmer for 8-10 minutesNow increase the flame and cook until the oil comes on topStir in a dollop of cream and 2tbsp ground almonds.Serve with naan.
