Sumatran Chicken
Ingredients
- Chicken breast 2
- Oil 3 – 4 tbsp
- Coconut milk 1 cup
- Flat noodles ½ packet
- Bean sprout ½ cup
- Boiled eggs 2
- Bean curd sliced 2
- Coriander leaves chopped ¼ bunch
- Spring onion chopped 2
- Fresh red chilies chopped 2 – 3
- Lemon juice 1 tbsp
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
- Onion 1
- Turmeric ½ tsp
- Fresh cream 2 tbsp
- Leek 1 medium piece
- Celery stick 1 medium piece
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper powder ¼ tsp
Method
- Heat 3 – 4 tbsp oil in a wok, add 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste and 2 sliced chicken breast, sauté till its color is changed.Then add in ½ tsp turmeric, salt to taste, ¼ tsp black pepper powder, 1 cup coconut milk, chopped leek and chopped celery stick. Cook for 2 – 3 minutes.Now add boiled noodles, bean sprout, fried bean curd, chopped coriander leaves, chopped spring onion leaves and chopped fresh red chilies. Mix well and cook for 2 – 3 minutes.Lastly add lemon juice, fresh cream, chopped boiled eggs and chopped onion. Mix well and serve with boiled rice/sauté vegetable.
