Fried Dumpling with Sauce
Ingredients
- Flour 250 gm
- Egg 1
- Warm water ½ cup
- Beef mince 250 gm
- Ginger 1 medium piece
- Spring onion 1
- Soya sauce 2 tbsp
- Brown sugar 1 tbsp
- Worchester sauce 2 tbsp
- Water ¼ cup
- Tomato ketchup 3 tbsp
- Peanut butter 2 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper ¼ tsp
- Oil for fry
Method
- In a bowl mix together 250 gm, salt to taste and an egg. Mix well and knead to medium soft dough with lukewarm water as required. Keep it aside.In another bowl mix 250 gm mince, chopper ginger, spring onion copped, salt to taste, brown sugar and black pepper. Make small balls with the dough, roll each ball.Put a little mince mixture on top of each tortilla. Brush edges with beaten egg.Fold and make it into dumpling. Then deep fry all the dumplings and keep aside.In a wok put together 3 tbsp tomato ketchup, 2 tbsp Worchester sauce, 2 tbsp soya sauce, 2 tbsp peanut butter, salt to taste, black pepper, ¼ tsp water and cook till it comes to a boil.Pour sauce on fried dumplings or serve separately in a bowl.
