Double Sausage Roll


Ingredients for roll
  • Flour 1 kg
  • Sugar 3 tbsp
  • Eggs 2
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Butter 3 ounces
  • Instant yeast 2 tbsp
  • Water to knead
Ingredients for Filling:
  • Chicken or beef Sausage 2
Method
  • In a bowl add flour 1 kg, Sugar 3 tbsp, Eggs 2, Salt 1 tsp, Butter 3 ounces, Instant yeast 2 tbsp and knead to smooth soft dough with Luke warm water as required.Leave to rise for 45 minutes then make into desired shapes as demonstrated, fill with sausage, cover and let them rise again, brush with beaten egg, bake in a preheated oven for 20 minutes on 200 degree C.
