Tandoori biryani
Ingredients
- Chicken 1 kg 12 pieces
- Vinegar 2 tbsp
- Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
- Salt 1 ½ tsp
- Chili powder 2 tsp
- Allspice 1 tsp
- Orange color pinch
- Coriander roasted and crushed 1 tbsp
- White cumin roasted and crushed 1 tbsp
- Tomatoes 3 chopped
- Yogurt 1 cup
- Brown onion 1 cup
- Rice ½ kg soaked for 30 minutes and boiled
- Green chilies 4 sliced
- Coriander leaves ½ cup
- Mint leaves few
Method
- Marinate chicken with Vinegar 2 tbsp, Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp, Salt 1 ½ tsp, Chili powder 2 tsp, Allspice 1 tsp, Orange color pinch, Coriander roasted and crushed 1 tbsp, White cumin roasted and crushed 1 tbsp, heat ¾ cup oil add 1 cup brown onion with chopped tomatoes, add yogurt fry well add marinated chicken fry for 10 minutes, cover and leave it for a while till chicken tender, top chicken with coriander leaves, mint leaves, green chilies, add boiled rice on top, cover and leave it on dum.
