MUGHLAI QORMA


Ingredients:
  • Beef (boneless) ½ kg
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
  • Chopped onion 2
  • Yogurt 250 gm
  • Red chili powder 2 tbsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tsp
  • Cumin powder 1/s tsp
  • Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • All spice powder ½ cup
  • Almonds, pistachio, cashew nuts ½ cup
  • Clarified butter 1 cup
  • Salt to taste
Method:
  • Boil ½ cup almonds, pistachio and cashew nuts. Take 1 cup clarified butter in the pan add in 2 chopped onions and fry it till they are golden brown. Crush the fried onion and add in yogurt. Mix it and keep it aside. In the same oil, sauté half cup all spice powder. Then add in 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste. Add in beef and cook it on a high flame. Add in yogurt, 2 tbsp red chili powder, 1 tsp coriander powder, ½ tsp cumin powder, 1 tsp turmeric powder and some salt. Cook everything then add in some water. Cover the pan and cook it till the meat completely tenders. Separately, fry boiled dry fruits in some clarified butter. When the qorma starts leaving clarified butter add in the fried, almonds, pistachio and cashew nuts. Mix it, dish it out and serve.
