Makai Chicken Macaroni


Ingredients
  • Sweet corn 1 cup
  • Macaroni boiled 2 cups
  • Chicken boiled and shredded 2 cups
  • Black pepper 1 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
Ingredients for White Sauce
  • Butter 4 ounce
  • Flour 3 ounce
  • Water 1 cup heaped
  • Milk 2 cups
  • Grated cheddar cheese ½ cup
  • Mustard powder ½ tsp
  • Black pepper ½ tsp
  • Salt ½ tsp
Method for White Sauce
  • Melt 4 ounce butter in a pan, add 3 ounce flour with ½ tsp each salt, pepper and mustard, add 2 cups milk and 1 cup water, whisk well, cook on low flame till sauce thickens. In the white sauce mix 1 cup sweet corn, 2 cups boiled macaroni, 2 cups boiled and shredded chicken with ½ cup grated cheddar cheese, mix well, pour into oven proof baking dish, top with 3 tbsp grated cheddar cheese, bake for 20 minutes on 200 degree C, serve hot.
