Makai Chicken Macaroni
Ingredients
- Sweet corn 1 cup
- Macaroni boiled 2 cups
- Chicken boiled and shredded 2 cups
- Black pepper 1 tsp
- Salt 1 tsp
Ingredients for White Sauce
- Butter 4 ounce
- Flour 3 ounce
- Water 1 cup heaped
- Milk 2 cups
- Grated cheddar cheese ½ cup
- Mustard powder ½ tsp
- Black pepper ½ tsp
- Salt ½ tsp
- Melt 4 ounce butter in a pan, add 3 ounce flour with ½ tsp each salt, pepper and mustard, add 2 cups milk and 1 cup water, whisk well, cook on low flame till sauce thickens. In the white sauce mix 1 cup sweet corn, 2 cups boiled macaroni, 2 cups boiled and shredded chicken with ½ cup grated cheddar cheese, mix well, pour into oven proof baking dish, top with 3 tbsp grated cheddar cheese, bake for 20 minutes on 200 degree C, serve hot.
