Thai Ginger Beef


Ingredients
  • Beef undercut ½ kg
  • Fruit vinegar 2 tbsp
  • Oil 2 – 3 tbsp
  • Sesame seeds 1 tbsp
  • Carrot 1
  • Spring onion 2 – 3
  • Coriander leaves ¼ bunch
  • Boiled rice 200 gm
  • Crushed red pepper 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Soya sauce 2 tbsp
  • Garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Lemon juice 1 tbsp
  • Worchester sauce 2 tbsp
  • Ginger 1 piece
  • Dry red chilies 4 – 5
  • Desiccated coconut 1 tbsp
  • Corn flour 2 tbsp
Method
  • Cut beef into slices, marinate with 2 tbsp soya sauce, 1 tbsp garlic paste, 1 tsp crushed red pepper, 1 tbsp lemon juice, 2 tbsp corn flour and a little salt. Mix well. Then deep fry till done.Remove and keep aside.
  • Cut 1 carrot and a piece of ginger into strips. Cut 4 – 5 dry red chilies into halves.Heat a little oil in a pan, add 1 tbsp garlic paste and fry a little.
  • Now add carrot juliennes, ginger juliennes, chopped spring onion and chopper coriander leaves. Fry for 2 – 3 minutes. 
  • Then add 2 – 3 tbsp oil, 1 tbsp desiccated coconut, 2 tbsp Worchester sauce, salt to taste, 1 tbsp sesame seeds and 2 tbsp fruit vinegar.Fry for another 2 – 3 minutes, then serve with boiled rice.
