Mutton Paya Masala
Ingredients
- Mutton trotters (boiled) 6
- Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
- Onion 2
- Yogurt 250 gm
- Coriander leaves ¼ bunch
- Dry fenugreek leaves 1 tbsp
- Chili powder 2 tbsp
- Turmeric 1 tbsp
- Coriander powder 1 tbsp
- Allspice powder 1 tsp
- Oil ¼ cup
- Salt to taste
Method
- Heat ¼ cup oil in a pan, add 2 chopped onion and fry till golden brown.Add in 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste and fry well.Now lower the flame, add 2 tbsp chili powder, 1 tbsp turmeric, 1 tbsp coriander powder, 1 tsp all spice powder and salt to taste. Fry well for 1 – 2 minutes.
- Then add 250 gm whipped yogurt.Cook for a few minutes.Add 6 boiled trotters with its stock. Mix very well.Simmer on low flame for 15 – 20 minutes.
- Then remove lid, add 1 tbsp dry fenugreek leaves and a little coriander.Fry well till gravy thickens, dish it out and serve hot.
