Mutton Paya Masala


Ingredients
  • Mutton trotters (boiled) 6
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
  • Onion 2
  • Yogurt 250 gm
  • Coriander leaves ¼ bunch
  • Dry fenugreek leaves 1 tbsp
  • Chili powder 2 tbsp
  • Turmeric 1 tbsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tbsp
  • Allspice powder 1 tsp
  • Oil ¼ cup
  • Salt to taste
Method
  • Heat ¼ cup oil in a pan, add 2 chopped onion and fry till golden brown.Add in 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste and fry well.Now lower the flame, add 2 tbsp chili powder, 1 tbsp turmeric, 1 tbsp coriander powder, 1 tsp all spice powder and salt to taste. Fry well for 1 – 2 minutes.
  • Then add 250 gm whipped yogurt.Cook for a few minutes.Add 6 boiled trotters with its stock. Mix very well.Simmer on low flame for 15 – 20 minutes.
  • Then remove lid, add 1 tbsp dry fenugreek leaves and a little coriander.Fry well till gravy thickens, dish it out and serve hot.
