Badaam Paak


Ingredients:
  • 100 grams almonds
  • 250 grams sugar
  • 125 grams ghee
  • ½ kg khoya
  • 30 grams semolina
  • Nutmeg, mace, cardamom a pinch
  • Yellow color a pinch
Method:

1. Except for a few almonds slice the remaining almonds and keep aside
2. Heat ghee in a frying pan and cook the semolina until its color begins to change
3. Now add sugar, khoya, sliced almonds and little bit of water and continue frying
4. As the water dries out add 1 tbsp of oil and continue frying
5. Add the yellow color and continue stirring .If the mixture gets dry add some ghee.
6. Now add cardamom powder, nutmeg and mace.
7. Place the halwa on greased tray, garnish it with pistachios and serve.
