Chicken Paneer Pulao
Ingredients
- Chicken breast (cubes) 2
- Rice 300 gm
- Peas boiled 1 cup
- Onion 1
- Potato (sliced) 2
- Tomato (cubes) 2
- Green chilies 2 – 3
- Cottage cheese 2 packet
- Coriander leaves ¼ bunch
- Ghee ¼ cup
- Black cumin seeds ½ tsp
- Turmeric ½ tsp
- Water 1 ¼ - 1 ½ cup
- Mix whole spices as required
- Salt to taste
Method
- Heat ¼ cup ghee in a pan, add 1 sliced onion and fry till golden brown.Also add 2 chicken breast cut into cubes, mix whole spices and ½ tsp turmeric.Cook till onion is tender, then add 2 sliced potatoes and 2 – 3 green chilies cut into strips.Fry for few seconds, add 1 ½ glass of water and cook on low flame till potatoes are tender.
- Now add 300 gm soaked rice, 2 – 3 green chilies, 2 chopped tomatoes, ½ tsp black cumin seeds, ¼ bunch of coriander leaves, salt to taste, fried cottage cheese and 1 cup boiled peas.
- Cook till rice comes on top. Mix well, simmer on low flame for 8 – 10 minutes.Dish it out and serve hot.
