Chicken Paneer Pulao


Ingredients
  • Chicken breast (cubes) 2
  • Rice 300 gm
  • Peas boiled 1 cup
  • Onion 1
  • Potato (sliced) 2
  • Tomato (cubes) 2
  • Green chilies 2 – 3
  • Cottage cheese 2 packet
  • Coriander leaves ¼ bunch
  • Ghee ¼ cup
  • Black cumin seeds ½ tsp
  • Turmeric ½ tsp
  • Water 1 ¼ - 1 ½ cup
  • Mix whole spices as required
  • Salt to taste
Method
  • Heat ¼ cup ghee in a pan, add 1 sliced onion and fry till golden brown.Also add 2 chicken breast cut into cubes, mix whole spices and ½ tsp turmeric.Cook till onion is tender, then add 2 sliced potatoes and 2 – 3 green chilies cut into strips.Fry for few seconds, add 1 ½ glass of water and cook on low flame till potatoes are tender.
  • Now add 300 gm soaked rice, 2 – 3 green chilies, 2 chopped tomatoes, ½ tsp black cumin seeds, ¼ bunch of coriander leaves, salt to taste, fried cottage cheese and 1 cup boiled peas.
  • Cook till rice comes on top. Mix well, simmer on low flame for 8 – 10 minutes.Dish it out and serve hot.
