Choclate cup cakes


Ingredients
  • Butter soften ¾ cup or 6 ounces
  • Sugar 1 2/3 cup
  • Eggs 3 beaten
  • Vanilla essence 1 tsp
  • Flour 2 cups
  • Coco powder 4 tbsp
  • Baking soda 1 ¼ tsp
  • Baking powder ¼ tsp
  • Salt ½ tsp
  • Water 1 1/3 cup
  • Chocolate chips 30
Ingredients for chocolate frosting
  • Butter ¼ cup softened
  • Coco 2 tbsp heaped
  • Milk 2 to 3 tbsp
  • Vanilla ½ tsp
  • Icing sugar 2 cups
Method for frosting
  • Combine all ingredients in a bowl beat until smooth.
Method for cup cake
  • Beat butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla essence until light and fluffy, in another bowl sieve together flour, coco, baking soda, baking powder and salt, add alternately with water to butter mixture, fill paper lined muffin cups half full, place a chocolate drop in centre of each, bake on 180 degree C for 20 minutes, cool completely, frost with chocolate frosting, top each with a chocolate chips.
